WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A special concert to celebrate the opening of Karla.
Singer-songwriter Steve Earle's musical career spans three decades, thirteen records, two works of fiction and thousands of days on the road. Nominated eleven times for a Grammy Award, his 2004 critically acclaimed and much-publicized album "The Revolution Starts ... Now" garnered him the distinction of Best Contemporary Folk Album. But Steve's interests are not only limited to the arts; he is also a well-known speaker and presence in a variety of left-leaning and anti-war populist movements. He recently celebrated his one-year anniversary with Air America Radio, the progressive talk radio network where he hosts a music program every Sunday evening. On October 11th, you are invited to join Steve for a special intimate acoustic performance celebrating the opening of his new play, Karla.
