Due to overwhelming fan demand, eight-time Grammy Award winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tina Turner has extended her long-awaited 2008 North American arena tour, presented by Amway Global, with the addition of eight new dates.   Beginning October 1, at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Turner's AEG Live-promoted tour will delight fans over the course of 36 dates across the U.S. and Canada.  The singer's brand new stage show--her first in eight years--will feature hit after hit spanning Turner's entire career, with a spectacular production including a top-notch band, innovative choreography, hi-tech lighting and much more.
