Meryl Streep and Michael Douglas are among the celebrities who will participate in the History Channel's documentary series America The Story of Us, according to a report in Variety.

The twelve part series, which will begin next year, will cover the history and pre-history of America, spanning roughly 400 years. Additional commentators will include Buzz Aldrin, Gen. Tommy Franks, John Lasseter, Colin Powell, Donald Trump, Brian Williams, and Stevie Wonder.
