Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Jason Robert Brown, et al. to Be Saluted in NYFOS Concert

New York Festival of Song (NYFOS) will present Killer B's-American Song From Amy Beach to the Beach Boys at The Julliard School's Peter Jay Sharp Theater on January 13 at 8pm. NYFOS directors Steven Blier and Michael Barrett will serve as pianists/hosts for the free concert, which will have choreography by Jeanne Slater.

The concert will feature the music of Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, Marc Blitzstein, Eubie Blake, Jerry Bock, William Bolcom, and Jason Robert Brown, among others. Songs slated to be performed include Berlin's "Let Me Sing and I'm Happy," Blitzstein's "Nickel Under the Foot," Brown's "In a Perfect World," and Bock's "A Trip to The Library."

The concert will feature Catherine Hancock, Meredith Lustig, Carla Jablonski, Naomi O'Connell, Carlton Ford, Timothy McDevitt, and Adrian Rosas.
