Fisher Stevens will join the cast of ABC's hit series Ugly Betty, according to TVGuide.com. The actor will be playing the potentially recurring role of Betty's sarcastic new landlord.

Stevens has appeared on Broadway in Torch Song Trilogy, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and the Lincoln Center Theatre revival of Carousel. His Off-Broadway credits include Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell, The Exonerated, A Perfect Ganesh, Twefth Night, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Ugly Betty, which is set in the world of fashion magazines, stars theater veterans America Ferrara, Vanessa Williams, Michael Urie, Ana Ortiz, Tony Plana, Daniel Eric Gold, and Judith Light, along with Eric Mabius, Becki Newton, and Mark Indelicato.
