Showtime's hit series Nurse Jackie, which stars Broadway veteran and Emmy Award winner Edie Falco. will begin its second season on Monday, March 22, according to Variety.

Fa;co plays Jackie Peyton, a nurse who constantly bucks the system and breaks the rules in both her personal and professional lives. The show also stars Eve Best, Peter Facinelli, Anna Deavere Smith, and Dominic Fumusa. First-season guest stars included stage veterans Blythe Danner, Judith Ivey, and Swoosie Kurtz, among others.

Falco's Broadway credits include Frankie & Johnnie in the Clair de Lune, 'night, Mother and Side Man. She is best known for her work as Carmela on HBO's The Sopranos.
