The Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers has announced that Giovanna Sardelli and Lynne Taylor-Corbett are the 2008 recipients of the Joseph A. Callaway Award for excellence in stage directing and choreography.

Sardelli's credits include the Off-Broadway plays Animals Out of Paper, All This Intimacy and Huck and Holden.

Taylor-Corbett is currently represented Off-Broadway with the York Theater Company's My Vaudeville Man, and was a Tony Award nominee for her work on Swing!

The awards, which include a cash stipend, were presented at Playwrights Horizons on November 17.
