Composer/lyricist Brian Gari and book writer Allan Knee will be joined by One Life to Live star Ilene Kristen and original cast member Michael McAssey for a special event celebrating the musical Late Nite Comic, at the Drama Book Shop on Thursday, November 13 at 8pm.

The event will include the performance of songs from the musical, as well as signings of the newly published libretto, song folio, 20th anniversary CD, and Gari's book about the show, We Bombed in New London.

Late Nite Comic is a musical that flopped on Broadway in its original 1987 production at the Ritz Theatre. The anniversary CD, which benefits The Actors Fund, includes vocal performances by many of Broadway's current stars, including Brian D'Arcy James, Julia Murney, Karen Ziemba, Howard McGillin, Mary Testa, Liz Callaway, Chip Zien, Liz Larsen, Sal Viviano, Mario Cantone, Jason Graae, Paul Shaffer, Rupert Holmes, Tony Roberts, Daniel Reichard, Martin Vidnovic, and Seth Rudetsky.
