The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade gave thousands of New Yorkers -- and millions of television viewers -- the chance to see and hear some of the entertainment world's biggest stars. Leading off the parade was country music superstar Dolly Parton, who's writing the score for the Broadway-bound musical 9 to 5, based on the 1980 movie in which she starred.

















Fans were thrilled to catch a glimpse of two of the stars of Disney's smash hit High School Musical: Corbin Bleu, who plays Chad...




















...and Ashley Tisdale, who plays the high-spirited Sharpay.



















Among the other notables who participated in the parade were Nikki Blonsky, who plays Tracy Turnblad in the film version of Hairspray...





















...original Phantom of the Opera star Sarah Brightman...


















...cabaret favorite Michael Feinstein, who opens his new show Winter Dreams on Tuesday at his namesake club at the Loew's Regency, and Tony Award winner Anika Noni Rose...





















...and Spring Awakening co-stars Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff.




















The Big Apple Comic Book Convention returned to town on the weekend of November 16 and brought out an eclectic array of stars, including Oscar winner and Broadway legend Celeste Holm...





















...and Hollywood leading man -- and former Ten Commandments star -- Val Kilmer.

















Former Brady Bunch star Barry Williams has taken to the stage in a new show Growing Up '70s at the Ha! Comedy Club. At the November 17 performance, he caught up with another TV icon of that decade, former Welcome Back Kotter star Ron Palillo.




















The Broadway strike may have stopped the company of Chicago from performing, but they still celebrated their 11th anniversary with a party at Tony's Di Napoli on November 15. Here are the show's current leading ladies, Brenda Braxton, who plays Velma Kelly, and Michelle DeJean, who plays Roxie Hart.





















That same evening, the improvisational revue Don't Quit Your Night Job returned to the Zipper Factory. The evening's many special guests included Bob Saget, who recently took over the role of Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone...






















...funny man Mo Rocca, last seen on Broadway in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee...





















...one of that show's original cast members, Celia Keenan-Bolger (right) -- who will star next year in the new musical Saved at Playwrights Horizons -- and former Sopranos star and Broadway veteran Jamie-Lyn Sigler...



















...and John Ellison Conlee and Tony winner Katie Finneran, who co-starred in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Pig Farm.
