August, Olin, Stormare, et al. to Remember Ingmar Bergman at BAM

Bibi Andersson, Pernilla August, Lena Endre, Lena Olin, and Peter Stormare will take part in a special free event, BAM Remembers Ingmar Bergman, to take place at 7pm on Monday, November 19 at BAM's Harvey Theatre. The legendary film and stage director died on July 30 at the age of 89.

The actors will read selections from Bergman's diaries. An excerpt from the documentary Bergman Island will also be screened at the event.

The remembrance of Bergman will continue at BAM Rose Cinemas on November 20 at 6pm with a screening of Persona, introduced by Andersson, and an 8:45pm screening of Shame, with an introduction by author Jonathan Lethem. On November 21 at 7pm, Fanny and Alexander will be screened with an introduction by August.
