A new, two-disc set of the original cast recording of Jule Styne and Bob Merrill's Sugar will be released in early October by Kritzerland.

Based on the movie Some Like It Hot, Sugar has a book by Peter Stone. The original company of the show starred Robert Morse, Tony Roberts, Elaine Joyce, and Cyril Ritchard.

One CD in the set will feature the original album mix. The second disc will be a newly mixed version of the original sixteen-track session tapes, which have been remixed to provide listeners with a clearer and less artificial sound.
