Psycho Clan's Nightmare to Return in September
Created and directed by Timothy Haskell, this year's edition is based on the responses of an online poll about its audience's recurring bad dreams. It promises "more special effects, more elaborate sets, and more evil baddies waiting to get you then ever before."
The creative team includes Paul Smithyman (production designer), Aaron Haskell and Justin Haskell (art directors), Wendy Yang (costumes), Jaisen Crockett (video/photography), David Andora (special effects), Garin Marschall (lights), and Eric Shim (sound). On October 20, Psycho Clan will present Nightmare Backstage, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the haunted house that includes a panel discussion and demonstrations its creator and designers.
Haskell has also added a second brand-new haunted attraction, Nightmare: Legends, also at CSV. Conceived by Aaron and Justin Haskell, it is a classic haunted house from back-in-the-day, with a carnie feel and a cast of legendary horror characters: Werewolf, Blob, Zombie, Vampire, Witch, Frankenstein, Mummy and a maniac with a chainsaw.
The Nightmare franchise will also include an expanded version of last year's hit, Nightmare: Ghost Stories, opening in Miami on September 25.
