Hurt, Kurtz, Nixon, O'Hare to Star in An Englishman in New York

Tony Award winners Swoosie Kurtz, Denis O'Hare, and Cynthia Nixon will star opposite John Hurt in the British television drama An Englishman in New York, according to The Guardian.

Hurt will once more play the flamboyant author Quentin Crisp in this follow-up to The Naked Civil Servant. Filming is taking place in New York, and the telemovie is expected to air in 2009.

Kurtz will play Crisp's American agent, Connie Claussen; O'Hare will play magazine editor Phillip Steele; and Nixon will play performance artist Penny Arcade.
