The St. George Theater in Staten Island has released its 2008-2009 season schedule.

Among the 2008 highlights are a concert by former Broadway star David Cassidy and fellow singer Davy Jones (September 13); the Staten Island Philharmonic's concert presentation of the musical On the Town (September 27); New York City Opera's Looking Forward concert, featuring music by such composers as Debussy, Stravinsy, Messiaen, and Foss (October 4); Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway (October 25); Beatlemania Now (November 1); Mickey Rooney and wife Jan in Let's Put on a Show (November 2); comedian Pat Copper (November 8); and the St. George Christmas Show (December 19-21).

Shows in 2009 will include a concert by the ABBA tribute band Arrival (February 8), the Off-Broadway children's shows A Kid's Life (February 28) and Pinkalicious (March 20); singer Art Garfunkel (March 21); The Wizard of Oz (April 26); and the American Family Theatre production of Anne Frank... A Voice (May 28).
