Hallelujah Broadway, Featuring Alfreda Burke, Rodrick Dixon, Linda Eder, et al. to Air on PBS; DVD & CD Released September 14

Aaron Tveit Joins Cast of Les Miserables...

Alfreda Burke, Rodrick Dixon, and Anthony Kearns are featured in Hallelujah Broadway, which will be broadcast on PBS stations nationwide during July and August. Linda Eder is a special guest star in the concert, which features musical direction by Gavin Murphy. Hallelujah Broadway will also be released on DVD and CD on September 14.

The musical extravaganza was filmed in Prague on February 8, 2010. The concert also features the Prague Filmharmonic Orchestra and Choir.

Among the numbers performed on the album are "Somewhere," "Electricity," "Seasons of Love," "What I Did for Love," "Bring Him Home," and "Anthem." Additional numbers on the DVD include "Gold" from Camille Claudel, as well as such standards as "Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord," "Oh What a Beautiful Mornin'," and "Someone Like You." Both CD and DVD will include the specially commissioned title song for the event.
