W.S. Gilbert's Engaged!, a Victorian comedy featuring the signature wit of Sir Arthur Sullivan's collaborator, will be the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company's fifth annual "Summer Fling" production.

Running July 17 - August 8, the play follows the adventures of a wealthy young man, who has the unfortunate habit of falling madly in love with every woman he meets. When his train derails on the border between England and Scotland, his penchant for instant love leads to a host unexpected complications for him and those around him.

The production, directed by the CSC Artistic Associate Jeremy Dubin features resident company members Rob Jansen and Kelly Mengelkoch, who are joined by Andy Gaukel, among others. The creative team includes Kristen Robinson (scenic design), Heidi Jo Schiemer (costume design), Sara Watson (lighting design) and Christopher Guthrie (sound design).
