New York's outdoor theater companies provide fun in the sun and magic in the moonlight.
One of the many joys of summer in New York City is the ability to enjoy great theater -- while also taking advantage of the great outdoors. The five boroughs abound with companies who spend their days and nights putting on innovative (and sometimes interactive) productions of Shakespearean and other classic fare. TheaterMania recently caught up with three such companies, Gorilla Rep, Boomerang, and Piper, to check out their outdoor offerings.
