Katie Finneran, Anthony LaPaglia, Billy Elliot Stars to Receive Awards from Inside Broadway

Tony Award winners Katie Finneran and Anthony LaPaglia, along with Jacob Clemente, Michael Dameski, Alex Ko, Liam Redhead and Dayton Tavares, who share the title role in Billy Elliot, will all be honored at Inside Broadway's 2010 Broadway Beacon Awards, to be held on June 17 at 5:30pm at The Players Club.

Julie Chang will host the ceremony, which will also feature a performance by students from Junior High School 278 in Marine Park, Brooklyn, as well as a special Broadway performance. Additional performers will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the performance and the awards ceremony, the event will feature a cocktail reception and the presentation of a Beacon Award to Cristyne Nicholas, CEO of Nicholas & Lence Communications.

Inside Broadway develops and produces touring equity musical productions as well as vital after-school arts programs that allow New York City students to interact with professionals in the field and experience theater.
