John Leguizamo will be honored at P.S. 122's annual spring gala, to be held at the The Abrons Arts Center, at 6pm on Tuesday, May 4.

Carmelita Tropicana and Marga Gomez will emcee the event. There will be live performances by Hazelle Goodman, Lenny Kaye, Spike Lee, Rosie Perez, John Turturro, and the Wau Wau Sisters. There will also be presentations by Claire Danes, Spike Lee, Baz Luhrmann (via video), and Lucy Sexton, a video performance and tribute presentation by Eric Bogosian.

Jody Oberfelder's Crash Helmet Brigade will make a special appearance at the pre-show cocktail party, while music will be spun by DJ Andrew Andrew at the post-show party.

In addition, The Friedman Foundation will be honored with the Shining Star Award.
