Aaron Tveit Joins Cast of Les Miserables...

Tony Award winner Patti LuPone and mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe will co-host the sixth annual Opera News Awards, which will take place on Sunday, April 17 at The Plaza Hotel.

The awards will honor tenor Jonas Kaufmann, conductor Riccardo Muti, soprano Patricia Racette, soprano Kiri Te Kanawa, and bass-baritone Bryn Terfel.

In addition to appearances by Te Kanawa and Terfel, the event will include celebrity presenters such as Christine Baranski, Patricia Clarkson, and John Guare speaking about the awardees, along with performance videos for each honoree.
