Meredith Patterson to Bring Sweet Old-Fashioned Girl to Birdland on March 15

Meredith Patterson will star in a new show Sweet Old Fashioned Girl at Birdland on March 15. Patterson has developed the piece with Emmy nominated musical director Rob Berman, and pianist Ross Patterson.

The show draws upon her childhood memories with her jazz percussionist father Bill Patterson and her musical theater background. Sweet Old Fashioned Girl contains a 14 song set list, musical directed & arranged by Berman and co-arranged by Patterson. Along with her father on drums, she will be accompanied by Patterson (piano), Tom Hubbard (bass), and Brian Koonin (Guitar).

The actress-singer most recently appeared on Broadway in Irving Berlin's White Christmas and previously starred as Peggy Sawyer in the Broadway revival of 42nd Street. She currently plays the role of Francesca on ABC's All My Children.
