Flux Theatre Ensemble has announced the playwrights that will be participating in ForePlay, the company's exploratory play reading series, to run Mondays at 7pm March 22 - May 10, at various venues around New York.

The plays in the series are written using themes connected to group's mainstage production. This installment of ForePlay will feature 16 playwrights re-imagining 8 stories from the Old Testament, inspired by Flux's upcoming production of August Schulenburg's Jacob's House, a modern retelling of the Jacob wrestling the angel story.

Participating writers include Johnna Adams, Jeremy Basescu, Erin Browne, Bekah Brunstetter, Leila Buck, James Comtois, Christine Evans, Fengar Gael, Michael John Garcés, Bill George, David Ian Lee, Kristen Palmer, Brian Pracht, Mac Rogers, and Crystal Skillman.
