Tony Award winner Idina Menzel will guest star on multiple episodes of the ABC drama Private Practice, according to a report on TVGuide.com. The series stars her husband, Taye Diggs, along with Kate Walsh, Tim Daly, Amy Brenneman, and four-time Tony winner Audra McDonald.

Menzel has been touring in support of her CD I Stand, and is scheduled to appear at the Tarrytown Music Hall in March. She received a Tony for Best Actress in a Musical for originating the role of Elphaba in Wicked and a Tony nomination for playing Maureen in Rent, a role she recreated for the 2005 film version.

She also appeared in the London concert version of Chess, and starred in the Off-Broadway musical The Wild Party. Menzel also co-starred in the Oscar-nominated film Enchanted opposite Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey.
