Kerry O'Malley and Marc Kudisch to Headline The Unsinkable Molly Brown

Kerry O'Malley and Marc Kudisch will headline the reading of Dick Scanlan's new adaptation of the Meredith Willson musical, The Unsinkable Molly Brown as part of the Denver Center Theatre Company's Colorado New Play Summit, to run February 13 and 14. It will be directed by Kathleen Marshall.

The cast will also feature William Parry, Linda Mugleston, Chad Callaghan, Paula Chase, Susan Derry, Kevin Earley, Ali Ewoldt, Jeremy Jordan, Kevin Ligon, Omar Lopez-Cepero, Brandi Chavone Massey, Orville Mendoza, Richard Roland, Matthew Shepard, Jennifer Smith, and Kevin Worley.

The Summit will also include readings of Eventide by Eric Schmiedl, based on the novel by Kent Haruf; When Tang Met Laika by Rogelio Martinez, about the American-Russian collaboration on the International Space Station; Take Me to the River by Constance Congdon, about a farming family and based on real stories; and Flooded by Julie Marie Myatt, about a TV meteorologist turned oracle, as well as productions of new plays.
