Educators from schools and performing arts centers around the country will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with Broadway professionals at the 3rd Annual Freddie G Broadway Experience, July 12-15.

Underwritten by Myrna and Freddie "G" Gershon, Chairman and CEO of Music Theatre International, the program honors instructors and teachers who are working to make a difference for their students and communities through the process of staging musical theater productions.

The eight teachers will attend special workshops led by director Jeff Calhoun, lighting designer Ken Billington, music director Kristen Blodgett, choreographer Lisa Stevens, and scenic designer Tobin Ost.

The eight teachers selected to attend the weekend include Dina Sarno Slawson, Kevin Quillinan, Becky Morris, Neeahtima Dowdy, Rhonda Cato, Bakari King, and Patsy Riley.
