WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
On April 21, 2009 at 7:00 pm you are invited to attend the York College Foundation's 2nd Annual Scholarship Benefit Event. This year, the event will salute the Tuskegee Airmen and honor Congressman Gregory Meeks and Christopher Ward, Executive Director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. The college will be opening a Tuskegee Airman exhibition, for which several Tuskegee Airmen will be present.
Headlining the evening will be a performance by Tony Award winning stage, film and television actor Brian Stokes Mitchell.
All proceeds from the event will be used to provide Merit Scholarships to academically qualifying students.
Box Office will assign actual seat locations. VIP tickets can attend a pre-concert VIP conversation with The Tuskegee Airmen at 6pm and a post-concert reception with Brian Stokes Mitchell.
