WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Parisian accordionist Jean-Louis Matinier, whose distinctive sound is reminiscent of Astor Piazzolla, and vibist-pianist Karl Berger, Creative Music Studio founder and six-time winner of the Downbeat Critics Poll as a jazz soloist, are joined by bassist John Lindberg, vocalist Ingrid Sertso and guests in a program featuring new works by Berger and selections from the No Man Is an Island collaborative recording.
