WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
City Center concludes their 2000 Encores! Season of great American musicals in concert with, Wonderful Town. Based on Ruth McKinney's New Yorker short stories, the plot concerns two sisters, Ruth and Ellen, who move to Greenwich Village from Ohio to seek successful careers. Leonard Bernstein's score includes such songs as: "Christopher Street," "Ohio," "One Hundred Easy Ways" and "Conga!?
