WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Cabaret star Joan Crowe returns with her show that salutes women songwriters from Bessie Smith to Bonnie Raitt: Women of Note. Directed by Lina Koutrakos, Crowe will be accompanied by the Tedd Firth Trio. Songs include everything from 'Happy Birthday,' by sisters Patty Smith Hill and Mildred Hill, to 'America the Beautiful' by Katherine Lee Bates and 'Battle Hymn of the Republic' by Julia Ward Howe.
