WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Walt Wingfield, stockbroker-turned-farmer, is about to become a father, but his vision of earthly paradise is clouded by the feuds that simmer on the backroads of Persephone Township. His attempts to mediate make "ancient grudge break to new mutiny." Douglas Beattie directs Rod Beattie in Dan Needles' Wingfield on Ice.
