Joey Arias and Penny Arcade -- two bona fide NYC icons -- come together to host Weimar New York, the theatrical cabaret dreamed up by downtown impresario Earl Dax. Weimar New York juxtaposes the aesthetic and music of Weimar-era Berlin with that of the contemporary downtown performance scene in New York City, celebrating the spirit of creative resistance that thrives in response to conservative political forces, be they the rising tides of Nazism in Weimar Germany or gun-toting Tea Party Patriots in the contemporary United States.

Featuring John Kelly, San Francisco burlesque star Alotta Boutte, and the U.S. debut of European cabaret star Sven Ratzke.
