WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The only student of legendary singer Lotte Lenya, Joy Bogen will star in WEILL & LENYA CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION for two performances at Weill Recital Hall, Carnegie Hall, Sunday February 6th at 8:30 pm and Merkin Concert Hall, Abraham Goodman House, Tuesday March 7th at 8:00 pm. Presented by Koch International the evening explores the romantic saga of Kurt Weill and Lotte Lenya. A true love affair, their story is told through their famous songs, each carefully chosen to fit the story of their lives. In addition to Weill's famous Ms. Bogen debuts some of the composer's unpublished work. -vn
