Wanted is the coming of age story of Tina, a precocious ten year old Texan girl who is sent to a juvenile detention center after writing eight thousand dollars in hot checks to fund her dreams of becoming a singer.
Shontina Vernon creates a world infused with haunting, beautiful music that weaves together the tapestry of Old West Texas sounds and the noise of the contemporary coastal cities.
