US Premiere
Under a shining moon, an enormous boulder is situated in a body of water that nearly fills the stage. The dancers, in varying groups, splash and swim in the torrent and deluge that comes from above, virtually creating their own music through the sounds of their cavorting. Vollmond is at once urgent, athletic, and sensual--channeling the inescapable energy of its maker.
