They're over the top. Larger than life. Simply divine. They're divas! New York City Gay Men's Chorus salutes the diva with Viva la Diva, an incomparable tribute to the group's favorite leading ladies and their signature shows and operas. Under the baton of Jeffrey Maynard, the program includes: "Diva" from the musical Starmites (performed with Terri White); "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" (performed with Debbie Lennon); Indra Thomas singing "Vissi d'Arte" from Tosca; songs from Hairspray (performed with Jennifer Lewis); and Jimmy James' rendition of "I Got It Bad and That Ain't Good."
