Theater for the New City holds its 24th annual Village Halloween Costume Ball. Underground stars perform each year in TNC's Halloween cabarets. This one-night festival takes over all four of TNC's spaces, plus its lobby and the block of East Tenth Street between First and Second Avenues. Penny Arcade, Epstein and Hassan, and steve ben israel are just a few of the acts. Costume or formal wear is required.
