Theater for the New City, originator of the famous Village Halloween Parade, hosts the 31st annual Village Halloween Costume Ball. Come see TNC's 2-story 30,000 square foot space transformed into a series of Halloween environments by painters and scenic designers. Tap dancers, belly dancers, lounge acts, musicians, and comedy teams perform throughout the night in two Cabarets. Past performers have included Reno, Bina Sharif, Wise Guise, Penny Arcade, Zero Boy, the Living Theater, and NY Lyric Circus. Party with your favorite downtown stars! There is a costume contest at Midnight with downtown Celebrity Judges! Costume or formal wear is required.
