WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Longtime Cabaret Scenes reviewer Valerie Kanofsky makes her NYC cabaret debut at Danny's Skylight Room in three performances of Shall We Dance?, with veteran musical director David Brunetti, and directed by MAC-award winner Scott Barnes.
The eclectic show features the title song, as well as songs by Ed Kleban, Kurt Weill, Mickey Leonard, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and Gabriel Faure, among others. The charming British-born soprano also exploits her zany side in numbers by Gerard Alessandrini, William Bolcom, and Frederic Chopin!
