WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Urban Ballet Theater presents the world premiere of Spin, an electrifying new ballet by the company's Artistic Director, Daniel Catanach, along with emerging choreographer Andres Gonzalez. Fusing classical ballet with breakdancers and live DJs, this work promises to put an entire new "spin" on contemporary dance. The company also performs the New York premiere of La Llorona, a Latin version of the Medea story, as well as Tangoed, and Mambo, UBT's signature work.
There are no performances on Friday, March 16 or Thursday, March 22.
