Theater Resources Unlimited presents their 3rd annual TRU Love Cabaret Benefit with the first ever TRU Spirit Award going to Frederic Vogel for his generous contributions to the theater community.

A Gala evening of music, the benefit features a unique array of representatives from the finest in concerts, clubs, and musical theater performers including: Kathleen Chalfant, Robert Cuccioli, Sandi Durrell, Eileen Fulton, Suzanne Ishee, Pamela Lynn, Heather MacRae, Kristopher McDowell, Anne Meara, Mark Nader, Vickie Phillips, Stephanie Pope, Ken Prymus, Jana Robbins, Libra Sene, Mary Stout, K.T. Sullivan, Jane Summerhays, and The Broadway Blessing Choirs with surprises and guests to be announced.

The show begins at 7:30pm with the Wine Reception and Silent Auction at 6:30pm. The VIP Reception follows the performance at Soul Cafe (444 West 42nd St.). All funds raised from the benefit go towards Theater Resources Unlimited programs including a New Play Reading Series, a New Musicals Reading Series, a newly created annual scholarship to the Commercial Theater Institute, bi-monthly newsletters and weekly e-mail updates.
