It will be directed by the controversial Patrice Chéreau, who is perhaps best known for his 1976 Ring at Bayreuth, which was greeted as a scandal and later became a rousing success. Symphony Space and Emerging Pictures are proud to bring Manhattan high definition digital screenings of operas recorded live at La Scala and two other renowned Italian opera houses.
