WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
In a blend of North African and Arab melodies with West African rhythms, Trance & Berber Music of Morocco inlcudes acrobatic dances and ecstatic music from Gnawa trance ceremonies, accompanied by Brahim Fribgane (guitar, percussion), Mohamed Bechar (qaraqab - castanets, dance) and Hassan Hakmou (skin-faced lute, vocals, dance). Presented by World Music Institute.
