WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Four-time Tony-Nominee Tovah Feldshuh recreates her award-winning performance as Golda Meir, the legendary Milwaukee schoolteacher who became Israel's Prime Minister in 1969. From the pogroms of Russia to the halls of the Knesset, the play encapsulates the dramatic story of Meir's reign through the birth of Israel and its struggle for peace for much of the 20th Century. Golda's Balcony became the longest running one-woman show in the history of Broadway. "Miss Feldshuh gives such a fiercely committed performance that she does more than just resurrect Golda, she embodies an entire country" New York Times.
