Toby Blackwell performs his cabaret, Bitter, which explains what exactly makes him bitter. D. Jay Bradley music directs and Maria Gentile directs this multi-media presentation. This performance shows his Survivor audition tape, and the audience is able to learn how visiting his crazy Filipino mother has prepared him for the show, hear the musings of Kameela, the pregnant, disgruntled Disney employee, and of course, see the show-stopping "parade of Divas," beginning with a discussion of and video excerpts from Ms. Whitney Houston's infamous Primetime interview. More than just a comedian, Toby also imparts some serious messages to his audience, addressing issues such as homophobia and the military's "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, under which he served.
