Award-winning jazz vocalist/arranger Tish Oney and Grammy-winning guitarist John Chiodini present their nationally-touring production celebrating the songwriting talents of the late, great Peggy Lee. While Lee was exceptionally acclaimed as one of the greatest interpreters of popular song throughout the mid-twentieth century (along with Armstrong, Crosby and Sinatra), she was also a highly prolific songwriter, composing over 270 songs in a variety of genres.
Infused with facts about Lee's songwriting process, this one-night-only cabaret show highlights Oney's contemporary jazz arrangements of Lee's best-known original hits as well as little-known gems. Guitarist John Chiodini (Lee's former music director and songwriting collaborator) adds his expertise and historical authenticity to this uniquely entertaining production.
