WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Deserted by his friends as a victim of his own generosity, Timon retreats to a cave to rail against all mankind. Last performed by the RSC in 1980 at The Other Place, TIMON OF ATHENS is staged in the RST for the first time since 1965. Michael Pennington rejoins the RSC to play Timon.
