On October 16th, The Fire This Time Festival and A Mile In My Shoes, Inc. will once again co-produce Through The Ages II as a benefit concert for The Fire This Time Festival. The vision for this concert parallels the mission of The Fire This Time Festival, which is to show that the African American experience is not represented solely by one voice or one style. Through various musical styles, we are showing how African American artists have responded to the changes within society. The concert features such classics as Strange Fruit, A Change Is Gonna Come, Love's In Need Of Love Today and Tennessee. Our talented artists for the evening include: P. Murray, Femi Shiri, Royale Mosley, Christine Yarde, J. Stone, Andrew Clarke, Jamaal Wilson, Robb W. Roberts and AMIMS founder Germono Toussaint as musical director.
