WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra are 18 singers and 7 musicians performing the music of the Beatles, The Who, David Bowie and Queen, as well as selections from Jesus Christ Superstar, and an all-original mini-opera. The proper way to receive your rock 'n' roll is in anthemic waves of fist-clenched bombast, replete with tight leather pants, epilepsy-inducing stage lighting and a set list that favors Bowie, Queen & Jesus Christ Superstar. Only a handful of bands are licensed to rock you that hard. And a band like the Ultrasonic Rock Orchestra, whose glam-bam-thank-you-ma'am rocktastic thunder literally made Andrew Lloyd Webber's head explode, certainly has that license.
