NYC's only political cabaret series returns for its sixth season of songs, sketches, and satire on all the issues New Yorkers hold dear with Americans: Who Are We?. Senators never stop campaigning, and neither does The Thalia Follies! Approaching the halfway point of the first(?) Obama term, the political cabaret troupe takes a look at the big challenges that are shaping up for the fall. Always funny and often moving, these original evenings created by Symphony Space's Artistic Director Isaiah Sheffer and Martin Sage are guaranteed to get you talking and laughing. With special guests at every performance, The Thalia Follies troupe of performers includes Ivy Austin, Mary Brienza, Russell Joel Brown, David Buskin, Kathryn Markey and Leenya Rideout. Musical Direction by Lanny Meyers. While you watch the show, enjoy a glass of wine and a light evening meal in the intimate cabaret atmosphere of the Leonard Nimoy Thalia.
