Broadway Concerts Direct presents The Sopranos: License to Trill, starring Broadway's Judy Blazer (Titanic, Me and My Girl), Maureen Brennan (Candide, Little Johnny Jones), George Dvorsky (110 In the Shade), and Sarah Rice (Sweeney Todd, The Fantasticks). Laura Bergquist is music director and pianist, with Shogo Kubo on guitar. Judy Blazer directs. The Sopranos is an eclectic evening of songs and texts ranging from Dorothy Parker and Oscar Wilde to Mozart ("The Impresario") and Ravel ("Habanera") to James Taylor, beloved music theater songs ("Vilia," "If I only Had a Brain," "How to Handle a Woman"), novelty numbers and more, sung and acted by some of the finest performers on the Broadway, concert and operatic stages today. All songs are performed without microphones. Immerse yourself in the thrilling beauty of these naturally gorgeous, powerful, warm and unamplified voices.
